Born Pretty Store Review (1/2): Holo Polish #8

Good afternoon! Today I'll be showing you one of two products sent for review by Born Pretty Store. I'm pretty sure everybody knows I have a huge weakness for holographic polishes, and this one is certainly no exception.

This polish looks slightly different in the bottle than it does on the nail; in the bottle it appears to be more of a true blue, whereas on it's more of an aqua/cyan colour. This isn't a real issue for me, but it could be important to somebody else!

Born Pretty Holo Polish #8. This is a sea blue jelly with an intense holographic finish. I'm still working on a way to capture the holo effect at its full capacity, so you're going to have to trust me when I say it's pretty crazy!

Since it's a jelly, the formula's a little on the sheer side but it builds up really nicely. Shown is three coats without topcoat, but if you aren't fussed about VNL, two is fine. I would also like to mention that these pictures are without cleanup - I don't know what it is about that brush but hot damn, it was nice to paint with!

Born Pretty Holo Polish #8 is available worldwide from Born Pretty Store. Wanna hear the best part? I have a 10% off coupon code (PCBQ10) for you guys to use. Stay tuned for the second part of my review!
